Our mission to impact 14 year old cancer survivor, Kortney Fike and her family by providing an EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER for large portions of their home and making it handicap accessible is COMPLETE! And it could not have been done without so many of you pitching in--some with long hours--and helping the project along.
To watch the face of this young girl and her mom when she saw her new bathroom, dining room, kitchen area, and a darling bedroom...there was not a dry eye anywhere to be found. In fact, I'm choked up right now!
There are several "God Stories" that I'll tell later but I just wanted to say thanks to all who helped and gave. And I also want to issue a challenge to every other church in the country--Do This, if only once, Do This and BE the CHURCH!
